The Echoplex is a solution-driven concept for building a hyper-efficient, scalable complex.
It marries the fractal elegance of nature with the newest advents in modern building materials techniques and technology. It is the ultimate space to care for domestic animals and required that we did more than think outside of the box. So we removed the box completely by creating a structure that focused on the ergonomics of both animals and humans.
We realized early on that in order to increase adoptions to good homes it was necessary to create an environment that could rapidly reverse the physical and emotional trauma that abandoned or abused animals endure.
The poor state of underfunded shelters is one of the primary hurdles when looking to house animals. This is not only disturbing for scared animals but for potential parents too. The Pawvillion Echoplex is designed to heal animals while also benefiting humans and the community that surrounds it. The welcoming atmosphere will encourage people to bring their dog to play – perhaps leaving with a companion. Its design will also attract additional volunteers and enhance the aesthetic and spirit of the whole community.
The name ‘Echoplex’ is a nod to the inexpensive and simple build design which can be easily repeated – or ‘echoed’ -nationwide
Echoplax is ecologically and economically sustainable as it will be entirely off the grid and less donor dependent. This design and business model ensures a high quality of life for our four legged friends and promises a significant impact to the way care for those in need – humans and animals alike.
We will continue to share designs and ideas as this progresses so don’t forget to subscribe and, of course, to donate if you can…every bit helps.
